Consumer Confidence Rises in 2014 25

Attitude is everything.

This truism runs across all businesses and all industries. It predicts the ups and down and ins and outs of almost everything in our lives. This is good and bad.

It’s good if you’ve got a strong, positive attitude. You can succeed despite incredible odds.

It’s bad if you waste opportunity because you’re not in the mindset to make it happen.

So this latest study is particularly exciting. The Federal Reserve did a survey of consumer attitudes. They found that compared to last year consumer expectations of growth are much higher.

Employment, income, housing gains, price increase – all of these categories showed consumer confidence and hope for a brighter future.

This means a world of difference for our industry. If hopes are high and attitudes are primed for success, then success will surely follow. So ask yourself one simple question:

Do you feel lucky?
