Foreign Investors Are Taking Your Cash
This isn’t going to sound P.C. but I’m just going to say it anyway – our country is being overrun by foreigners. No, I don’t mean the kind that come here seeking opportunity and who want to contribute to the great American melting pot. And I don’t mean the kind that climb over the border illegally. I’m talking about another kind that doesn’t get much attention:
Foreign real estate investors!
What, doesn’t sound as dramatic as you thought? None of the romance or controversy you were hoping for? Well, you may not realize what this means but you will soon. Instead of states like California and Florida having large Spanish populations, they’ll actually have Spanish investors.
You see, the rest of the world isn’t blind to two pretty obvious facts:
1) The US housing market is WAY undervalued and
2) The dollar is trading at rock bottom against almost every other currency.
What this means is that now is the best time for foreign investors to take their cash and buy like crazy over here. As an example, home prices have dropped 33% on average, but when converted to Chinese money prices are down 45%. Add to that foreclosures which sell for an extra 25% discount and you get an irresistible offer for even middle-class overseas investors.
I’m telling you this for one simple reason – YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME TO WAIT. You might still be sitting on the sidelines thinking you’ve got time to make your fortune and invest later. But you are wrong. Flat out wrong. Not only will you miss out on incredible deals, but with all the foreign investment prices are going to climb higher and faster than you might expect. I’m not saying we’re going to see a recovery tomorrow but holding onto your cash and staying out of the game is just not an option.
I can’t stress this enough, folks. You need to be making bold moves in real estate investing, hit short sales hard and watch the cash roll in. I’m doing it. Hundreds of my friends and students are doing it. Why should you miss out? Why let the Chinese and the Canadians take your fortune? Trust me, I’d much rather see you living the good life.
