Spring Cleaning Your Brain

The quote speaks tons about what’s going on these days. Lots of folks are running around with "big" ideas. Just they never seem to realize how small they actually are. If you can’t take your idea and run with it, what use is it?
I was going to hit you with the latest news, but honestly, there just ain’t that much that’s, well, new. I see the same ole stories going round and round. Delinquencies, foreclosures, HAMPs, politics, and crashes. It’s been the same sad routine for months on end. I just couldn’t bear to bring you another day of the same.
So instead, let’s just talk for a second. Take a break from your hectic day and relax. Got your coffee in hand? I’ve got mine.
Don’t worry, I’ll wait.
All set? Great.
We’ve all got some ideas floating around upstairs, just waiting for some way to let em out. But months go by and those same ideas just haven’t gone anywhere. Actually, they have moved, just further back into the cobwebs.
Worse than that is when you see your big idea sit in your head long enough to become someone else’s actual big idea. You turn around and someone is cashing in big on something. And you’re just left muttering, "Man, that should’ve been me."
You know, winter’s throwing us a few more wallops now and again, but you can’t help feeling spring is right around the corner. Now’s the time to make those ideas come alive. Spring cleaning should be going on inside you too. Get the cobwebs off those thoughts and make something out of them.
