Would you care to share your weekly routine?

I keep mine pretty simple to keep up with the consistency. I find the more complicated the program, the greater possibility of not staying consistent.

Here are my weekly exercise and nutrition rituals:

My Exercise Rituals

1. I wake up at 6:15am and spend a few minutes being grateful to God in prayer, then I get up and drink 24 oz. of water as fast as possible. (I add a pinch of Himalayan pink sea salt and let it sit overnight to make it high alkaline based.) Check out the details here.

2. I do 100 jumping jacks in front of my bed to get my blood pumping.

3. I go to Crossfit to work out with my personal trainer from 7am – 8am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Then I come home and take a shower. I spend that time connecting with God.

4. I go 1 or 2 times to Golds gym and do nothing but cardio. I set the incline to 30 and walk at 3.5 speed for 30 min or more.

5. I sit in a dry sauna and sweat after the cardio workout at Golds gym for 15 min. This is total heaven for me… seriously. Sometimes I read or listen to audio books in there too.

6.. When I sit down to work on computer at a desk I set my alarm to buzz me every 3 hours to remind me to do some type of movement like push-ups, jumping jacks, go walk for a bit etc. This is usually a 20 min. break.

7. If I work in 2 hr. periods I turn on Pandora and set channel to “Epic Sounds” (music from movie Gladiator, Braveheart, Indiana Jones). I feel like a hero working and the dynamics in music help with short term focus.

However … If I know I’m sitting down to work for 3 hours or more at a time I will not listen to music. Studies have shown working longer periods at one time with music is actually less productive. For the proof, check this out.

My Nutrition Rituals

1. I juice basically anything green (chard, kale, broccoli, spinach, etc.) with carrots, cucumbers, apples, pears, and a little ginger about 3 times a week and drink coconut water at the same time to get 3-5x benefit. I’ll throw in some hemp protein, psyllium husk, aloe gold, flax seed, whey protein or occasional “Green Factor”(Google it). I do this immediately after I get back from working out.

** I also juice the carrot top roots.

2. I eat five egg whites with Cayenne red pepper sprinkled on top for a little “kick”.

3. I eat 1 raw egg for max probiotic nutrients.

4. I have a personal chef prepare 15 meals for me every Sunday night that I’m in town. I gave her a list of food items that Drew Canole and Jason Medley suggested she prepare (you can see the menu here). He told her how to prepare them for me. I pay her $100 a week to do this plus cost of groceries. I get most groceries at Wholefoods, but sometimes Target has organic and have her get stuff there.

The meals my chef prepares consist of the following:

3 – Tilapia with broccoli and quinoa (instead of rice).

3 – Lean chicken breasts with broccoli and quinoa.

3 – Turkey burgers with broccoli and quinoa.

3 – Vegetable snack buckets of: broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers and celery.

** I eat this with organic peanut throughout the day.

3 – Fresh spinach salads with almonds, strawberries or blueberries. I eat this with Brianna’s Blushwine Vinaigrette dressing. I order a 5 lb. bag of Goji berries from Tibet that I sprinkle on top too.

5. I eat about 200 – 300 calories a meal, 4 times a day. It’s usually every 2.5 hours.

6. When I travel I take what I call my “plant food” – Green Vibrance. This consists of 25 billion probiotics per dose from 12 strains. It’s basically organic greens and freeze dried grass juices. I bought the packets on Amazon that make it very easy to always carry these with me.

7. I also take some multi vitamins (green algae, vitamin D, Omega3, Spirulina, magnesium) and most importantly “Oceans Alive” Phytoplankton. (Google how good this is for your body.)

8. Sunday is my day I spend with my mom after church and it’s my “cheat hour” I usually have some type of carbs, pizza, meats etc., but I realize 1 cheat hour that is too bad can take me 2 days in the gym to work off, so I’m aware of that too.

Wow! Reading back over this I think I just realized I’m a lot more aware of my health than I have ever been in my life. You don’t have a guaranteed tomorrow and your health is all you’ve got to maintain your standard of energy consumption, so if you want to be full of energy start living a healthy life today. The longer you put it off, the harder it gets.

I’m 6”1’ and I weigh 180 lbs., down from 213 lbs. a little over 90 days ago. I hired Canole from Fitlife.tv and he flew to my house and stayed with me for a few days, hired my trainer, taught me about healthy food choices and alternatives and gave me a fantastic education in general on a healthy lifestyle.

Make time for your health every day, so you can serve others in your life time the best way possible.

P.S. Another huge thanks goes out to Canole! PM me if you want to know about his “Alpha Reset” that started everything for me (or see this video).

You all remember my 90 day transformation, right? So I’m giving you an update on how I’m doing. We’re all in this together and you guys are my motivation (well, Ivy’s a big part of this too, right?) Check out my latest vid below and click the links at the bottom for my first videos.

There’s a big lesson to be learned here. The reason you don’t get things accomplished in your life is because of a LACK of energy, NOT a lack of time. I’ve found 7 tips that are little “gold nuggets” to providing consistent, high-level, energy and fitness, and I’m happy to share them with you.

One of the major things I’ve learned is to FOCUS. You lack focus when your body is out-of-whack and your fitness is poor. What you need to do is get aligned and be more conscious and aware of your eating and drinking habits. If you don’t care about this it ultimately leads to confusion, feeling horrible, guilty, not productive and even eats away at your passion in all areas of your life.

For my transformation I hired a top-gun fitness and health trainer named Drew at FitLife.tv to help me get my fitness in order. I’m 6ft 1 and started off weighing 215 pounds 35 days ago. Now I weigh 189 pounds!!!!! 55 more days to go to my goal of 180!!!!!

Cory’s Beginning Why He Wants to Transform

Captain Cory beamed aboard, his face glowing. He turned to Ensign Chekhov and said, "Mr. Chekhov, plot a course to take us back through the wormhole. Our work here is done. Next stop, 2438!"

Cory sat back in the captain’s chair with a smile. Their unfortunate situation, being stranded at the brink of 2010, had turned out alright in the end. The crew had come together in a way he never thought possible. And they had laid the ground-work for a better future than the people of 21st century Earth would have had otherwise.

In their timeline, 2010 had proven to be a disastrous year. The real estate crisis that had been growing in 2009 had led to worldwide panic in 2010. Unemployment, homelessness, and despair had reigned throughout the globe for the following decade. But with Cory’s knowledge of the future, he had successfully averted the crisis and improved the future for all humanity.

Cory and the crew reminisced about what changes they had seen happen thanks to their hard work:

**** Till then, investor confidence had been shattered. Thanks to Cory’s encouragement, they had reassured people that the era of 50% drops in homes prices was over and people could reinvest with renewed confidence.

**** Cory had convinced people that interest rates had bottomed out and that they would soon see rate hikes. People were now looking to save as well as make good investments.

**** One of the biggest fears people had going into 2010 was how they’d be able to get loans with bad credit. Cory had shown them the best ways to get financing no matter what their situation.

**** Thanks to Cory’s ingenuity, he had staved off the onslaught of foreclosures. The crisis had been permanently averted by his Short Sale expertise and short sales were set to DOUBLE in 2010.

**** After Cory’s extensive negotiations with the banks, he had finally made them see reason. (It hadn’t helped trying to convince them he was from 400 years in the future!) They realized that dumping run-down foreclosures on the market would hurt housing prices further and deepen the crisis. Instead, banks worldwide had agreed to repair homes being offered for sale.

**** Cory’s persuasive tactics had also enormously streamlined the short sale process and finally made banks see the light. They would now offer full disclosure to sellers and make the process much easier.

**** Slow home purchases were clearly the downfall of the economy in the early 21st century. Cory and his crew had improved the market drastically through their tactics and had made first-time home buyers the driving force of the new economy. This filled the void left by people looking to move in to better homes who would now stay put.

**** Big was definitely out in the new economy. Cory’s knowledge of the future helped builders see that the key to bigger profits lay in building smaller houses on smaller plots and making up for the loss in sales volume. This would prove the key to a first-time home buying rebound.

**** Cory’s proven success at the short sale (his demonstrations and monster returns had almost convinced people he really was from the future!) had totally turned around government opinion. Thanks to Cory, short sellers would now be rewarded with easier loan requirements rather than penalized as they had been.

As the USS Enterprise entered the nebula which hopefully would return the crew to their own time, Cory wondered how we would be remembered in history. Would the world remember the mysterious stranger who single-handedly saved the economy? But Cory wasn’t after the fame. He was simply doing what he’d always believed. Trying to live by his own motto:

Remember, be a servant!

Happy New Year Everyone! Make 2010 Great!
