How Can We Serve Each Other in Web 2.0?

The very idea that we can remain still while the world around us changes is selfish and becoming unrealistic. There are amazing technologies that allow a greater scale of efficiency. Does that make sense?

If it doesn’t… watch this video and send me your comments about it.

I would love to hear your thoughts on how Web 2.0 can affect your short sale business?

  • http://www.rehablist.com Mike Collins

    Wow….

Some people think the Internet is like
a bunch of brochures and music videos
on the web. They don’t get the long term
implications of where the medium is taking
    us.

Professor Wesch and Cory can see the
    future.

Great find Cory. I really enjoyed that.
    (I watched it 3 times)

    Be well,

    Mike Collins

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW……IF I KNEW HOW TO USE THIS AWESOME TECHNOLOGY ANY THING I USED IT FOR WOULD EXPLODE…..SHORT SALES WOULD BE JUST ONE OF THE MANY THINGS…..TOTALLY AWESOME….THANKS FOR THE VIDEO

  • Joe

Heh? I liked it – it was interesting – but I couldn’t help thinking as I’m watching this thing (hey – it’s
early, I’m sipping my orange juice and my tea isn’t cool enuf to dring yet) that this can’t be what Cory wanted us to watch – it isn’t him and doesn’t mention real estate at all. That somebody jacked
his site and stuck this in there instead!

So…setting up a blog? Just…for someone who is just starting, while i get the point about it being a way to connect with customers, it also might be a time drag that seems like getting something done that actually takes away from marketing and talking to motivated sellers. Far be it from me to say – but people can and do fall in love with techology and get driven off track from the important.

You are much further along (obviously!) with the systematic running of your business…

    Cool thing to watch, tho…

Love it!!! Technology and virtual is becoming huge. I can not wait until the launch of ShortSaleOlogy!!

A beautiful illustration of the possibilities ahead. Yet, it still boils down to one on one communication between two people. The machines give us alternate means in which to communicate, but it is still the relationships built between people that make the world go round.

The #1 thing that had held me back is the thought of failure. Mentally, I knew and have learned that you have to fail to go forward. Nothing is done the best the first time. That’s why teams practice hour upon hour for each hour played on the field of sport. In the same way, it is time to practice doing short sales so I can be successful and serve people in need of my help.

Need to go call one now, to get them started and do what can be done to get them in a better position . . . and maybe friends of theirs as well.

Folks we’ve been doing short sales down here in Florida over the last year and know many who also are getting 4 out of 10 deals submitted to be accepted. This is a tedious process. Cory has created the perfect system to completely and entirely cover the bases, not to mention increase your odds of getting your submitted offers accepted. I absolutely put my full stamp of approval on this program and look forward to doing more deals myself as a result.

    Simply outstanding Cory!

    Great find Cory.

We have developed our whole business model based on the advancements we’ve seen with
the way that we interact with technology. Web 2.0 is all about bringing what was once very non personal and technical and making it warm and appealing to the masses.

The internet is still very very young, we are just seeing a slight glimpse as to what’s in store
for us in the future. Those that learn how to capitalize on it now will set themselves apart forever.

We have built http://www.ShortSaleOlogy.com around the Web 2.0 movement. I can’t wait for it to launch this Thursday.

Thanks for the comments and keep’em coming!

It’d also be great to use the Web as a way to communicate with clients so they know how their short sales are going.

AJAX technology can make a Web page feel almost like the Windows desktop:

    For example:

It’s like moving from the dark ages to the light. Awesome new technology not on the horizon but now. It’s a big world out there but this brings it closer to service people better. And as you say Corey, it’s being a servant. PS- Awesome music to praise by!

I thought the video was really creative & I agree with a few other posters that the music track was hot. I believe Web 2.0 is the wave of the future & will be the forefront of most successful marketing plans. Yes, as Tim H. said, it’s still about rapport & relationships, but this is THE way to find people to begin the relationships. Ditto, that was a great find Cory.
