Your Amazing Grace
One of the greatest challenges in life is getting back up on your feet when you’ve suffered a great loss or gone through a very difficult period of time in your life. Reading what many of you have been e-mailing in, I know that this is something that some of you are still struggling though – be it still recovering from the recession, trying to get back up on your feet from a hard year or even worse, the loss of a family member. Hang on in there, because I know you can make it through.
Today I’ll be saying a prayer for all of you, but I also wanted to share with you a very special video by a 7 year old named Rhema Marvanne – you can see her above singing ‘Amazing Grace’. This is a kid that lost her mother (a gospel singer) to ovarian cancer and was inspired to carry on her memory through song. Her songs and videos have now inspired millions. When you watch this and see her smile, you won’t be able to help but smile back. It’s really moving.
It can be difficult to lose someone as an adult but to lose them as a child is something different altogether. If Rhema was able to push through the hard times and get back to a place where she could be happy, it means that there’s hope for everyone out there going through similar hard times.
God bless and remember that I always make time out to personally respond to my posts if you leave a comment.
