I've personally started or had my hand in over 40 businesses and even built one from the corner of my bedroom to over 4 million a year in sales, then sold it for a tidy profit.

But my point here is not in the least to brag on myself. Honestly, I'm not all that special. I put my pants on one leg at a time just like you, and I certainly don't pretend to be the smartest kid on the block.

But I can say without a doubt that the first 33 years of my life have brimmed with experiences that have challenged me, stretched me, and grown me in ways I never could have imagined. And because of these experiences, I can 100% identify with what it's like to be a struggling, "up-start" entrepreneur.

Like you, I know just what it's like

to have a burning passion for financial freedom, and a vision that's so darn exciting it keeps you up at night

diligently burning the midnight oil, fiercely pursuing the dream you and your family so desire

pouring so much of yourself into capturing that dream, and doing whatever it takes to escape that prison of a J.O.B. (or avoid going back to it)

Only to end up feeling...

I mean, what's financial freedom really worth to you in the end, if you've worked your keister off for so long that your friends, children and spouse hardly even know you anymore?

Here's a short story maybe you can relate to --

“The true tale of John T. and how he
nearly died on success' doorstep”

To describe him as "pretty frustrated" would be a gross understatement. At "the end of his rope" might paint a more accurate picture of how John T. was feeling about his struggling real estate pursuits when we first shook hands at a local REIA meeting.

After only a moment or two of chit chat, it came out that I'm a short sale investor of some repute in the area. In addition to my "Short Sale Funamentals" course I offer on a national level, I'm often also kind of the "go to" guy locally for help and advice in the short sale arena.

Immediately John's entire demeanor changed. His smile disappeared and his shoulders dropped as he drew near and said in a lowered voice,

“Cory, can I please be really guts level honest with you for a minute? I gotta get something off my chest...”

It's not too often that someone comes at you with something like that, you know? Especially not someone you've just met. But I could plainly see he was serious, and invited him to continue.

He went on to share with me - through a somewhat strained expression - that after trying and trying, and spending a ton of money on his education already, he just couldn't seem to get his legs under him as a real estate investor. He'd tried a number of avenues to make real estate investing work out for him, but found himself struggling at every turn.

He'd given short sales an honest go of it… and ended up feeling TOTALLY AND UTTERLY LOST when he attempted to do one. I'll spare you all the sordid details, but I can tell you it was like a dadgum soap opera hearing him describe it...

And what's more, at this point he was nearly tapped out after ponying up – get this – over $27,000 on seminars and training materials!

I can only imagine how awkward it must have looked when my jaw literally dropped awide in “sticker shock”.

But that's not what got to me. It's the next thing he said hit me like a left hook to a glass jaw...

“Cory…. I’m out of 'TRY' money. I really think the only way I could learn how to be a successful real estate investor is if someone who's walked in my shoes would take the time to really HELP me and not just SELL me their latest course or bootcamp.”

I remember like yesterday being up late at night, buying real estate courses off eBay and late night infomercials, and feeling the exact same way. Maybe you can relate too.

It didn't take long for me to see plain as day that John was a bright, hard working guy, with a fierce determination to capture the same "real estate dream" we can all relate to. Just like you and me, he just wanted to give his family everything they deserved…and of course they were all looking at him to provide.

But here's the thing: As John shared his plight, I could see plainly from where I was standing that he was JUST SO CLOSE...JUST TEETERING on the very brink of success with each failed attempt.
